Hostel pod Voglom

On the shores of Lake Bohinj is an old hotel full of stories, perfect for a visit.

Hostel pod Voglom with the Rodica Depandance is situated in one of the most beautiful locations, on the southern shore of Lake Bohinj, 2 km from Ribčev Láz and 3 km from the bottom station of the Vogel cable car. In 2010 and 2014, Hostel pod Voglom was voted the best hostel in Slovenia by the Tourist Board of Slovenia.

Under the majestic peaks of the Julian Alps, Hostel pod Voglom invites travellers with warm hospitality and breath-taking views. Surrounded by lush forests and the calm waters of Lake Bohinj, this cosy haven offers a haven of relaxation and adventure, where every sunrise promises new discoveries and unforgettable memories.

Rooms

The Depandance offers private rooms, all with private bathroom and balcony.

Private rooms, which share a bathroom in the corridor, are located in the main building above reception.

Bar & Restaurant

The main building houses a restaurant with a social corner for guests to socialise, share travel experiences and have fun. There is free wireless internet, an LCD projector with screen, sound system, cable TV and flip chart for possible film screenings or seminars, lectures and workshops.

The hostel bar is open daily. Good coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine are always available. In summer, there is also a large outdoor terrace.
