About the Hostel

On the shores of Lake Bohinj stands an old hotel full of stories, just waiting for you to visit.

Nestled beneath the majestic peaks of the Julian Alps, Hostel pod Voglom welcomes travelers with warm hospitality and breathtaking views. This cozy retreat, surrounded by lush forests and the calm waters of Lake Bohinj, offers a haven of relaxation and adventure, where every sunrise promises new discoveries and unforgettable memories.

Hostel pod Voglom, along with its Rodica annex, is situated in one of the most beautiful locations on the southern shore of Lake Bohinj, 2 km from Ribčev Laz and 3 km from the lower station of the Vogel cable car. Hostel pod Voglom was selected as the best hostel in Slovenia in 2010 and 2014 by the Slovenian Tourist Board.

Rooms

The annex offers private rooms, each with its own bathroom and a small balcony

Bar & Restaurant

The main building features a restaurant with a social area designed for guests to socialize, share travel experiences, and have fun. It offers free Wi-Fi, an LCD projector with a screen, a sound system, cable TV, and a flip chart for potential film screenings, seminars, lectures, and workshops.

The hostel bar is open every day. Good coffee, soft drinks, beer, and wine are always available. In the summer, there is also a large outdoor terrace.
