Hostel pod Voglom has its own beach and outdoor sports center Pac sports and is located right next to Lake Bohinj. Our main clients also include school groups or sports teams in preparation, whose immediate vicinity of the lake and the Bohinj mountains and cycling routes provides an ideal starting point for the implementation of programs and workshops in nature.  The hostel is a meeting point and a starting point for all sports activities and

PAC SPORTS AGENCY

At PAC Sports in Bohinj, we have assembled a diverse range of sports and creative programs for students and other youth groups and clubs. You can opt for one-day programs, as well as weekend programs and multi-day camps. End-of-school excursions to Bohinj are also very popular and can be fully adapted to the wishes of pupils and their teachers. As part of the multi-day programmes, students are accommodated at a location right on Lake Bohinj in the youth Hostel Pod Voglom.

The Budkovič House is located in Bohinjska Bistrca, near the confluence of the Sava and Bistrica rivers. The house itself used to be a warehouse and a shop, but now it has been renovated into a beautiful city hostel.

The hostel is suitable for hikers who would like to rest before starting their journey. The hostel also has a large kitchen where everyone can prepare something to eat. The hostel is also suitable for groups, who can rent the whole house.

Students are divided into three groups. These rotate between the activities, mountain biking, canoeing and climbing at pod Skalco (25 m natural climbing wall). Each activity takes around an hour and a half. Before the final exchange, we have half an hour's rest for lunch at Hostel pod Voglom. In agreement with profesors ahead of time we can substitute any of the above activities with archery, sit on top kayaks on Lake Bohinj and sports games (orientation, field hockey, relay games...).

Students are divided into three groups. These rotate between the activities, snowshoe hike, snow rafting or sledding and ice skating on an artificial ice rink in Bohinjska Bistrica. Each activity takes around an hour and a half. Meeting point for group exchanges is at the parking lot infront of camping Danica Depending on the snow conditions, the program of activities may change.

Necessary equipment: Children should wear winter clothing, including overalls, gloves and a hat. Warm and waterproof shoes are important. Recommended are a change of clothes and a thermos of tea.

We have small adventure ratfs for up to 3 persons, and the route is very suitable for the student population. The adventure starts on Lake Bohinj at Hostel Pod Voglom, where you are also accommodated and the trip takes us down the river for 6 km to Bohinjska Bistrica.

Canyoning in Bohinj includes swimming, jumping into pools and abseiling. In a van, the students are taken to the staring point in the canyon of Jerečic river and brought back to Hostel Pod Voglom after the trip.

Children will learn the basics of paddling, and appropriate behavior on the water. Our guides will also share some interesting stories from the surrounding area. As we get used to the canoes, we'll make time for some mischief.
