A house in the heart of a national park

In the Triglav National Park, in the village of Ribčev laz, there is a pleasant wooden house that impresses with its authentic appearance. The house is located in a village, just a stone's throw from Lake Bohinj below the peaks of Rodica and Mount Suha.

Cottage Suha is suitable for larger groups or closed groups and families who would like to spend their vacation in a quiet neighborhood of the Triglav National Park. In total, the cottage has 20 beds in different types of rooms.

House Suha was completely renovated in 2013. Guests can use a modern and fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, glass-ceramic stove, refrigerator, hood, microwave...) and spacious dining room. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils, cooking ware and accessories. In addition to the modernly equipped kitchens, there is also a wood-burning stove and an open fireplace in the living area. Similar but smaller fireplaces are also located in other areas of the house.

Amenities

Guests have access to a washing machine tumble dryer and free WI-FI. Bed linen, 2 towels and slippers are included in the price. A large garden (800 m²) is attached to the house. There is a grill available and 3 outdoor wooden tables. Next to the garden is a landscaped parking lot.

News - Energy renovation of the Suha Cottage

We are aware of the importance of preserving the environment, which is why we successfully applied for the call for proposals "Support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector to increase material and energy efficiency".

The investment comprises the following measures as part of the energy renovation of the building:

- Insulation of the building envelope (façade, roof, basement exterior)

- Supply and installation of a solar power plant

- Supply and installation of energy-saving lighting

- Installation of water-saving equipment (water-saving taps and kettles, rainwater harvesting and use equipment)

- Supply of waste compactor

The objectives of the operation are:

- Reduction of energy consumption at the facility

- Reduction of drinking and sanitation water use

- Reduction of the volume of waste produced
